Commercial momentum and market

  • BIMZELX® was approved in 50+ countries, reached >148k patients worldwide and >270k patient-years of exposure; five indications were approved and four more were under study.

  • Revised peak sales potential was €7bn+, supported by execution, durable evidence and expansion across indications.

  • BIMZELX held ~35% global share of the IL-17 psoriasis segment and neared 50% in HS; IL-17 dynamic share exceeded 60% in Italy, 55% in Spain and 70% in Japan.

  • Psoriatic disease markets grew >5% annually, while U.S. HS patient numbers grew 20% YoY; BIMZELX growth outpaced the market.

  • AI-driven engagement and expanded access supported growth; U.S. HCPs showed strong prescribing intent, with 84% very likely to prescribe in the next 3 months.

Clinical data and long-term HS outcomes

  • Multi-year follow-up and open-label extensions showed no new safety signals; four superiority studies in psoriatic disease and arthritis showed early clinical benefits, including in ACR 50 scores.

  • IHS4-100 responses were sustained through Year 3; Year 3 response was 47.4% with disease duration <2.38 years versus 33.3% with duration ≥10.74 years, supporting better outcomes with earlier treatment.

  • At Year 1, 56.6% achieved zero draining tunnels and 29.4% zero total tunnels; mean total tunnel count fell by 2.1 and draining tunnel count by 2.4.

  • Among patients with baseline draining tunnels, >two-thirds of biologic-naïve patients achieved zero draining tunnels by Year 3, versus approximately half of biologic-experienced patients.

  • Pediatric studies were progressing, with a psoriasis readout expected the following year and HS studies including children as young as nine.

Quality of life and patient impact

  • Mean DLQI improved from 11.0 at baseline to 5.0 at Year 1 and 4.5 at Year 3; 76.4% reported no or mild HS impact on HRQoL at Year 3, up from 24.1% at baseline.

  • Three out of four patients reported minimal to no HS disease impact after three years; long-term HS data showed sustained improvements in quality of life, skin pain and itch.

  • Five-year North American psoriasis data showed >85% achieving minimal disease impact (DLQI 0/1).

  • Early and first-line use was associated with the best chance of high-bar outcomes and durable benefits; adolescents with HS may benefit from early targeted therapy given the long disease course ahead.
