Quartr Pro: Key updates 2024

When I look back on what Quartr achieved in 2024 as both the CEO and a co-founder, it's hard not to feel a mix of pride and gratitude. Pride for the milestones we've hit and the impact of our work – corporate narratives are now accessible to over 30 million end-users through the Quartr platform – and gratitude for the trust and support of our growing community and clients.

But we're not satisfied. I genuinely believe we're only at the beginning of what's possible, having barely scratched the surface of making qualitative public market research more efficient and allowing public companies to share their narratives.

We exited 2024 with >4x year-over-year ARR growth, having partnered with some of the world's largest hedge funds for Quartr Pro and leading AI companies like Perplexity for our API. It's been an incredible year of both growth and product development, with clients sharing great results.

Today, I want to share some of the standout updates we believe truly elevate the Quartr Pro experience. Each one was designed with a clear purpose: to increase the efficiency and precision in qualitative public market research for finance professionals. And these aren't just features; they're solutions born from listening to your needs. The launch of the event chat was undoubtedly Quartr Pro's biggest feature update in 2024. We combined our unique database of first-party information from over 12,000 public companies with the power of AI, enabling users to extract any data they are looking for from specific company events by simply asking for it. This really sets a new standard for qualitative public market research in terms of both efficiency and precision.

You can ask any question about a public company and instantly get the data you need – precisely sourced, fully traceable, and free from the clutter of unreliable third-party interpretations. Unlike other solutions that scrape the open web (introducing media speculation and thus inaccuracies), our AI only refers to verified first-party data. This also ensures that every response links directly to the relevant section of the source document, giving you 100% confidence in your findings.

And the AI doesn't just provide answers – it fits seamlessly into your overall Quartr Pro experience. You can view linked documents side by side, streamline your workflow, customize data extractions, and boost your productivity all in one place.

Imagine having a personal assistant that flags every keyword you want to track, no matter where it appears in our global coverage of investor relations material. That's exactly what keyword alerts deliver. Previously exclusive to our mobile app, this feature made its Quartr Pro debut in 2024.

Here's how it works: Set an alert for a product name and you'll be the first to know whenever it's mentioned, regardless of who's talking about it. Want to keep track of competitors, suppliers, or other key players in an industry? Create keyword alerts for their names, and you'll get updates instantly when they're brought up. Simple, smart, and laser-focused – just the way it should be.

Our commitment to crafting an amazing omnichannel experience extends to this update as well: keyword alerts created in the mobile app will automatically sync with Quartr Pro, and vice versa.

We've also given the earnings calendar a thoughtful upgrade. In addition to being more visually appealing and intuitive, the updated version displays times for both audio events and report publications. This allows you to manage your time more efficiently and stay informed about the events that matter most to you.

The calendar also stays in sync across Quartr Pro and the mobile app, and you can even integrate it directly with your Outlook or Google Calendar. No missed updates or events – just a smarter way to manage your time.

This feature essentially gives you the entire universe of investor relations material searchable simultaneously. Whether you're digging into slides, transcripts, filings, or looking for that one elusive detail, global search makes it easier and more efficient than ever to find it.

Previously limited to a separate page, global search now follows you everywhere within Quartr Pro. No more jumping between screens or breaking your workflow. With just a few keystrokes, you can access exactly what you're looking for whenever you need it. Custom filters further enhance both precision and efficiency in your research, allowing you to zero in on the details that matter most to you.

A recently introduced feature is the split-view capability. This allows you to open multiple panels to view various types of documents simultaneously within an event. For instance, you can now read a transcript, view slides, and keep the chat open all at once. It also enables you to access sources mentioned in the chat without leaving your current environment – enhancing your overall workflow and productivity.

We're constantly and rapidly increasing our already vast and global coverage. We've added both 10-Qs and annual reports, complementing our previous coverage of quarterly reports, slide decks, and event transcripts. These are fully integrated into both global search and the event chat.

We know how it is. You're busy, and staying on top of earnings events can feel like a constant battle against the clock. That's why we introduced automated summaries. Instead of always having to sift through pages of slides or transcripts, you can now instantly get a clear, concise summary of the key takeaways from specific events.

Having worked on the buy-side myself, I've lived those moments where every second counts. When in need, automated summaries are there to save you time.

2024 was a strong year for Quartr as a company and in terms of product development. We partnered with several of the largest hedge funds and consultancies globally, and expanded our presence among the major banks and investment banks. Our Quartr Pro client base now also includes several Fortune 500 companies, and we've partnered with leading AI companies like Perplexity for our API as previously mentioned. Looking ahead, we're laser-focused on delivering even more value to our clients in 2025.
