About the Data Automation Team
Quartr's Data Automation Team processes thousands of hours of live and recorded audio from events, delivering scalable, high-performance solutions that enable seamless streaming and data delivery. Responsibilities
Develop and maintain scalable data collection pipelines to power Quartr’s data-driven products.
Implement and enhance document extracting solutions to efficiently gather large volumes of real-time financial data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical decisions with business goals.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure smooth operation and timely data delivery.
Requirements
2+ years of professional experience as a backend engineer, with a focus on Python.
Strong expertise in automated web data extraction, with proficiency in tools such as Selenium, BeautifulSoup, or Scrapy.
Hands-on experience with AWS services like Lambda, EC2, ECS, and S3.
Skilled in Docker for deploying and managing backend services and extracting scripts.
What will help you succeed
Familiarity with managing large-scale data collection and integration pipelines.
Knowledge of ETL processes and workflow management tools like Apache Airflow or similar.
Solid backend development skills for creating and maintaining scalable systems.
Experience in handling streaming or batch data ingestion and processing.
