Ambu A/S develops, produces, and sells medical devices to hospitals, clinics, and rescue services worldwide. Its products fall under two divisions, Anaesthesia, Resuscitation and Patient Monitoring. The company’s core product line on the anaesthesia side is single-use endoscopes called Ambu aScope that are used in bronchoscopy procedures, and in the Diagnostic division is a wide range of diagnostic instruments including thermometers. The company also sells reusable patient monitoring systems, as well as a selection of breathing analysis equipment such as anesthesia breathing bags and sleep apnea monitors. Ambu was founded in 1937 and is headquartered in Ballerup, Denmark.
