Haib project and study outlook

• Haib is a large open-pit sulfide copper project in Namibia, at the PFS stage; the study was targeted for publication by end-November 2026.

• The PFS is expected to show copper production up 30%-40% to more than 100,000 tonnes per year, with a lower stripping ratio, longer mine life and slightly higher CapEx.

• Management expects a definitive feasibility study and project financing during 2027; construction is estimated at 2-3 years, with first copper targeted for 2030.

• Environmental approval and a mining license are expected in H2 2027.

Processing and project economics

• Coarse particle flotation (CPF) is planned to reject roughly 20%-25% low-value waste; management expects feed grade of 0.4%-0.45%, while noting the PFS will confirm results.

• Management said CPF could increase grade by about 25%, reduce throughput and costs, and lift copper production; the processing method is established and considered low risk for the ore type.

• Near-surface higher-grade zones are expected to improve early mine years; recent drilling supports potential to expand and improve project metrics.

• Orange River water infrastructure, 10 km from the project, is estimated at $100 million-$150 million and described as a low-cost, low-risk supply option.

• Heap leaching will be removed from the PFS to simplify the project; two processing trains allow for potential expansion to a third.

Development strategy and jurisdiction

• Strategy is to optimize and de-risk Haib, advance it to construction readiness, then either build it or pursue a sale or joint venture.

• During 2027, the team plans to progress infrastructure, water and power arrangements, complete the definitive study and arrange project financing while evaluating strategic alternatives.

• Namibia was described as a stable, mining-supportive jurisdiction with nearby grid power, water, roads, rail and population centers; local ownership and investor backing are seen as supporting social license and localization.

• Management cited strong local stakeholder support for mining-led jobs and socioeconomic development.
