Group capacity rose 2.4% year-on-year in April, with long-haul ASKs up 0.3% and domestic capacity up 2.2%, aided by two new A321 aircraft.
Short-haul international capacity increased 6.9% due to new aircraft additions.
Targeted capacity reductions were implemented in response to higher jet fuel prices following Middle East conflict.
Revenue and yield trends
Group year-to-date underlying RASK improved 2.8% year-on-year.
Long-haul YTD RASK increased 5.8%, reflecting reduced capacity and resilient demand.
Short-haul YTD RASK was 1.0% lower than the prior year.
Reported RASK for April rose 4.0% overall, with long-haul up 8.0% and short-haul down 0.4%.

April passengers carried increased 2.2% to 1,253,000; YTD up 1.0% to 13,438,000.
April passenger load factor improved 1.9 pts to 85.8%; YTD load factor up 0.5 pts to 84.1%.
Short-haul April passengers up 1.9%, Tasman/Pacific up 5.8%, long-haul up 4.5%.
Asia April load factor rose 3.4 pts to 88.8%; Americas up 3.7 pts to 81.9%.
