Opening remarks and agenda
Chairman welcomed attendees in Sydney and online, acknowledged Gadigal land, and introduced the board, executive team, and key partners present for the AGM.

Financial performance review
FY 2025 saw group revenue rise 7.8% to AUD 3.6 billion, with net profit after tax up 9.4% to AUD 198.6 million.
Policyholder growth in Australia was 3.2%, above the industry average of 2.2%, with total persons covered rising to 1,938,545.
Operating expense ratio improved to 17.7%, with $18m in productivity savings.
Net investment income increased 28.9% to $79.0m.
NIB incurred AUD 2.7 billion in private health insurance claims, supporting both public and private sectors.
Board and executive committee updates
CEO Ed Close, appointed December 1 last year, presented strategic objectives and business performance.
Donald O'Dwyer retired from the board, with Andrew Blair joining as a non-executive director and chair of the New Zealand board.
David Gordon stood for re-election as Chair, while Donal O'Dwyer retired from the Board.
Executive team updates included the appointment of Skye Daniels as CEO of nib NZ from August 2025.
