Governance

Strategy

• Hub-port strategy targets more cargo and transhipment, larger-ship benefits, expanded rail and inland-port use, lower supply-chain costs and reduced carbon intensity.

• Automated stacking cranes will be introduced in four phases across nine blocks, linked to volume growth and berth-extension timing; stage one is estimated at $100 million, with fully electric cranes targeting ~75% fewer emissions than straddle operations.

• Northport's Vision for Growth consent was granted in October 2025; Marsden rail spur options are under evaluation, and the Berth 3 extension is linked to rail-spur timing.

• Ruakura Inland Port handled 24,067 TEU in FY2026, up 6.8% from 22,525 TEU in FY2025; a Tainui Group Holdings and Brookfield JV will support development and customer container growth.
